SALEM, Ore. - Two murder suspects have been captured after a manhunt that stretched from western Washington through Oregon into California. The pair was wanted in the murder of an Everett, Washington woman and for questioning in relation to a missing Everett man and a slain Oregon teen.

Wednesday evening, police in Oregon confirmed the death of the teenager, who'd gone missing over the weekend.

David Joseph Pederson and Holly Ann Grigsby were arrested north of Sacramento by a California Highway Patrol officer who recognized their stolen vehicle. The car belongs to a missing Oregon teen.

19-year-old Cody Myers disappeared over the weekend during a trip to the Oregon coast. Oregon State Police Lieutenant Gregg Hastings says a body was discovered in a rural wooded area and shows signs of foul play.

"Early information relayed back to us leads us to believe it was not an accidental death," Hastings says.

Pederson and Grigsby are also suspected in the murder of Pederson's stepmother and the disappearance of Pederson's father. A spokesman for the Everett Police Department says it's too soon to know whether the captured pair will first be extradited to western Washington or whether they'll be taken to Oregon for questioning.
