88.5 KNKX is revisiting the Western Washington communities where we held meetings during the Save KPLU campaign in the first half of 2016. Our next stop is Seattle on Tuesday, April 25 from 7-8:30 p.m. in partnership with Folio: The Seattle Athenaeum.
We’ll do a short video presentation about how we got to where we are now, then we’ll turn it over to YOU for your comments and questions. We really appreciate your feedback about our programming: what do you like/not like, what would you like to hear more of, and how can KNKX be a better service to you and your community? Come and meet KNKX on-air hosts and news reporters including Kirsten Kendrick, Abe Beeson, Robin Lloyd, Ed Ronco, Simone Alicea and Jim Wilke, plus News Director Erin Hennessey. Enjoy complimentary coffee and tea. We hope you can join us!
Folio is Seattle’s independent, member-supported library--a gathering place for books and the people who love them. Open to readers from all walks of life, Folio offers circulating collections, vibrant conversations, innovative public programs, and workspaces for writers. It serves the region's creative community by being an incubator for new ideas. Folio is located at 314 Marion Street in the building that houses the historic downtown Seattle YMCA.
Folio founder David Brewster will be available after the meeting to give guided tours of the Folio space.
