It’s that time of year again. The time where we reflect on the past 12 months and ask: what would we change about ourselves in 2011?

About 40 percent of Americans make New Year’s resolutions, and half of them actually stick to them for 6 months or more.

Some of the most common resolutions are losing weight, quitting smoking, or spending more time with friends and family.

KPLU’s Rachel Solomon took to the streets of downtown Seattle to ask people what they’re resolving to do this coming year. Take a listen:

This year, two Seattle residents created a website to publicly share resolutions.

They asked people on the streets to write down their resolutions, then they took a photo. To see what they had to say, visit newyearseattle.org.
