Hundreds of people are expected to gather at the federal courthouse in downtown Seattle Saturday as part of a Justice for Trayvon Martin National Day of Action.

The noon vigil will include Martin's cousin, Cedric Martin of Tacoma. It's being held as part of the Rev. Al Sharpton's nationwideJustice for Trayvon Martin Day, which is expected to include 100 cities across the country.

The "call to action" is meant to further demand that federal charges be brought against George Zimmerman, who was found not guilty over the weekend in the slaying of Martin, a Florida teen. But the Seattle event will also be a rallying cry for "a new civil rights movement," said Jesse Hagopian, an activist and history teacher at Seattle's Garfield High School.

The vigil will be followed by a march down Fifth Avenue and up Jackson Street to Pratt Park.
