AP Photo/Dario Infante
In this still frame taken from a cell phone video provided by Dario Infante and taken on Feb. 10, 2015, Antonio Zambrano-Montes, left, turns to face police officers as one holds a flashlight and two others draw their guns just before shooting him.

Community leaders in Pasco, Washington are asking for a federal investigation by the Department of Justice, though it's not yet clear if they'll get their wish.

Pasco police shot and killed Antonio Zambrano-Montes last Tuesday. Witnesses say he had been throwing rocks at a busy intersection.

Local investigations of last week's police shooting in Pasco are ongoing. Pasco police are reviewing it internally. Police in the neighboring town of Kennewick are investigating. And the FBI is watching over the Kennewick Police Department's investigation.

Law enforcement said they will update the public Thursday.
