The Wall Street Journal recently asked four famous locals where they go to enjoy a great meal. From Starbucks CEO, Howard Schultz, to a cookbook author and chef, Kathy Casey, we get a glimpse of some of their favorite eateries in Seattle.

One place that Shultz and singer-songwriter, Brandi Carlile, agree on is the famous Pike Place Market. Both talk about the amazing seafood that the market offers, which is always fresh. Not only does Pikes offer great food, but there are also gorgeous bouquets of flowers, talented local artists, and beautiful jewelry. There’s something there for everyone.

Glass sculptor and co-founder of Pilchuck Glass School, Dale Chihuly, loves going to Il Terrazzo Carmine where you’re always greeted by the “charismatic owner." Some of his favorite dishes there are the igatoni bolognese and the spaghetti alla vongole.

Seattle isn’t just a great place to enjoy fabulous food but it is also a place to enjoy great entertainment, the celebrities said.

Chihuly has hosted several parties at the Big Picture theater and says that it is a small yet intimate and comfortable place.

Needle & Thread is a secret little restaurant. The Seattle chef Kathy Casey says that when you enter the restaurant Tavern Law, you go through the bank vault door, pick up an old-fashioned phone and ask for a seat.
