KPLU Summer Programming Updates

Thank you for your support over the past few months. All of us at KPLU are committed to continuing to providing you with the best jazz, blues and NPR News programming. We'd like to update you on some special programs to look forward to this summer: 2016 Election Coverage and NPR's Invisibilia.

2016 Election Coverage

You can count on KPLU to bring you everything you need to know about the 2016 election.

We're planning on bringing you special coverage of next month's Republican and Democratic National Conventions. The Republican Convention will take place in Cleveland, July 18-21. The Democratic Convention will take place July 25-28 in Philadelphia. Tune in to KPLU for in-depth coverage during Morning Edition and All Things Considered, plus special coverage every evening.

Invisibilia

We're excited to bring you the second season of NPR's break-out science hit, Invisibilia, debuting Saturday June 18 at 1 p.m. This seven-episode season continues to explore the invisible forces shaping our lives, specifically the forces at play in our institutions: work, family and governments. Hosts Lulu Miller, Alix Spiegel and Hanna Rosin bring you stories from prison, an oil rig, a McDonald's in Russia, and a debate tournament in Rwanda. You can hear a trailer for the second season by clicking here.

Invisibilia will replace Radiolab for its seven-week run. Radiolab will return August 6.

Happy listening,

Matt Martinez
