Amazon Go opened to the public Monday. The downtown Seattle convenience store uses cameras and sensors to track shoppers' purchases, eliminating the need for cashiers and check-out lines.
Shoppers use the Amazon Go app to scan into the store. Then they can pick up what they want and walk out. The app is connected to an Amazon account, and shoppers can see the receipt shortly after they leave.
KNKX visited Amazon Go to pick up lunch a couple hours after it opened. Click on the play icon above to hear more.
