This week on Jazz Northwest, Los Angeles-based singer Denise Donatelli joins Anton Schwartz in fronting a quintet in an Earshot Festival performance. The program was recorded on stage at Tula's in Seattle.
The Grammy-nominated singer Denise Donatelli and tenor saxophonist Anton Schwartz chose a program that includes time-honored standards, as well as contemporary songs by Geoffrey Keezer, Sting, Beck, AC Jobim and Donald Fagen. Completing the quintet are Portland pianist Randy Porter, Michael Glynn on bass, and Matt Jorgensen on drums.
